Topical negative pressure for chronic wounds?
Some wounds fail to heal with conventional dressings. Topical negative pressure has been increasingly tried as an alternative for acute and chronic wounds.1 Here we discuss the value of this treatment for adults with chronic wounds (e.g. pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, foot ulcers related to diabetes mellitus).
