Orabilix - correction (October 4, 1963 p. 47)

Abstract

The opening statement in the article on gallbladder contrast media should have referred to the American preparation of bunamiodyl, Orabilex (Fougera), and not the the British one, Orabilix (Bengué). The latter has caused no deaths or severe reactions in this country, and the manufacturer’s literature states emphatically that it should never be used in patients with severe renal or hepatic failure.
