Abstract

Perideca tablets containing dexamethasone 0.25 mg and cyproheptadine 4 mg, have recently been introduced by Merck Sharp & Dohme “to provide comprehensive control of inflammatory, allergic and pruritic disorders”. Dexamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroid, 0.75 mg of which is approximately equivalent to 5 mg of prednisone.
