Bioavailability of lithium preparations: correction

Abstract

Two trade names were transposed in the conclusion of this article (Vol. 14, p. 31). The last two sentences should read: ‘Priadel is absorbed to the same extent as Camcolit but is more expensive. Phasal is incompletely absorbed in some subjects and cannot be recommended on the present evidence.’ There are theoretical reasons for preferring a preparation of lithium which gives smooth plasma concentration curves. However it is not clear whether Camcolit and Priadel differ appreciably in this respect as we suggested.
