Abstract

In our article ‘Choosing a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug’ we stated that diclofenac causes more gastrointestinal unwanted effects than fenclofenac (1981, p 55). This statement was unjustified because the toxicity of these drugs cannot be compared in the absence of long-term comparative tests at equi-effective doses.
