Ictotest and infective hepatitis

Abstract

Infective hepatitis is one of the commonest infectious diseases. Diagnosis is often difficult, however, since no specific clinical sign, symptom or laboratory test positively identifies it. The physician must therefore make his diagnosis on the basis of the patient's exposure to the infection, his symptoms and non-specific laboratory tests.
