Abstract

Trilostane (Modrenal - Sterling) is a synthetic steroid which interferes with the formation of both cortisol and aldosterone. It is marketed for the treatment of conditions where these hormones are secreted in excess, such as in Cushing’s syndrome and Conn’s syndrome.
