Acrosoxacin for gonorrhoea

Abstract

Acrosoxacin (Eradacin - Sterling) is a new pyridyl quinolone anti-bacterial agent related to nalidixic acid, which is rapidly absorbed by mouth and active against Gram-negative bacteria. It is marketed for the treatment of acute gonorrhoea.
