Drugs to relieve spasticity

Abstract

In this article we discuss the use of baclofen, diazepam and dantrolene for the treatment of spasticity. General measures, such as physiotherapy and the relief of problems that may themselves accentuate spasticity, such as constipation, urinary retention and pressure sores, are not considered.
