Guidelines for managing the drug misuser

Abstract

On the recommendation of The Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs1 the DHSS convened a medical working group to provide guidelines of good clinical practice in the treatment of drug misuse. Its consensus statement2 should help all practising doctors. What are its main conclusions?
