▾ Fluconazole and ▾ Itraconazole for vulvo-vaginal candidosis

Abstract

Fluconazole (Diflucan - Pfizer) and itraconazole (Sporanox - Janssen) are both claimed to be effective oral therapy for vaginal candidosis. Both makers also claim that patients prefer oral to topical treatment.
