Patient care in community practice

A handbook of non-medicinal health care

Abstract

This is a useful pocket size book packed with information on aspects of patient care about which most doctors are ill informed. It has chapters on stoma therapy, incontinence, trusses, compression hosiery, wound management, oxygen and inhalation therapy, and home dialysis. There are also sections on dietary products and home parenteral nutrition, and an excellent appendix about the Advisory Committee on Borderline Substances (ACBS). It is illustrated with clear line drawings and photographs.
