Abstract

Quinestradol (Pentovis - Warner) is a cyclopentyl ether of oestriol, a new synthetic oestrogen developed in Italy. Many of its actions resemble those of oestriol, but there are certain differences. It is intended for the oral treatment of atrophic conditions of the vulva and vagina.
