Snoring children, sleep apnoea and tonsillectomy

Abstract

Obstructive sleep apnoea occurs in children as well as adults. In children it is usually caused by enlarged tonsils and sometimes adenoids and is almost always associated with snoring.1 How can it be detected and diagnosed, and how should it be treated?
