Antihypertensive drugs III the thiazides (July 27, p. 31) - clarification

Abstract

Ciba Laboratories Limited state that they recommend 0.25 – 0.5 mg daily of cyclopenthiazide (Navridex) in hypertension. All the doses in the table on page 32 were given for comparison and were not recommended doses, but Medical Letter consultants think that as much as 1 mg, i. e. the equivalent of 1 G of chlorothiazide, may be found to be needed.
