AB  - Paroven (Zyma) is a mixture of hydroxyethyl rutosides marketed for the relief of ‘chronic venous insufficiency’ of the lower limb. On the European mainland, where most of the published observations with it were made, it is sold under the name Venoruton. The Macgregor Committee has classified Paroven in category B2, i.e. of unproven efficacy.1
