Abstract

A special ‘Which ?’ supplement on contraceptives has just been published by Consumers' Association. It is written for lay readers, and is of particular interest to all who may be asked for advice on the subject. The report includes brief and clear accounts of the physiology of conception, and of methods of contraception, but its most important contribution is a comparison of the various brands of contraceptives. Short sections at the end indicate where advice on family planning can be obtained, and how conception may be achieved.
