Cost of nitrofurantoin preparations (May 26th)

Abstract

The manufacturers have asked us to note that the price of Ceduran quoted in the table on p. 43 includes 25% purchase tax; the basic NHS price is £16.24. The other (cheaper) preparations listed are exempt from this tax.
