Abstract

After our note (December 22, 1972, p. 104) on levodopa preparations had gone to press, some manufacturers announced lower prices. On December 22nd the basic NHS cost of 100 g levodopa in 500 mg tablets (Berkdopa and Larodopa) was £5.90. The manufacturers of Brocadopa and Veldopa are considering similar price reductions.
