Abstract

On page 62 in paragraph 5 of this article, the first sentence should have read ‘Where there is no Psycho-geriatric Assessment Unit, elderly persons without significant physical disease or illness but with evidence of a functional mental illness, or mild or severe dementia should be referred to the psychiatric service for further assessment.²’.
