Tricyclic antidepressives and glaucoma: what’s the risk?

Abstract

Many manufacturers of tricyclic antidepressives (and of other drugs with an atropine-like action, including those used in Parkinsonism) list glaucoma as a contraindication. Is this contraindication justified?
