Treating depression in patients with hypertension

Abstract

Drugs used to treat depression can themselves affect arterial pressure and interact with antihypertensive drugs, and anyone treating either condition needs to bear this in mind. Depression may be caused or aggravated by antihypertensive drug therapy.
