Abstract

Four years ago we reviewed the benzodiazepines then available and concluded that ‘the small clinical differences between the benzodiazepines currently marketed are not sufficient to have justified the introduction of all seven’.¹ Since then, clonazepam² and temazepam³ have been introduced and it is necessary to ask whether our original conclusion is still valid.
