Abstract

Ritodrine (Yutopar - Duphar) is a β2-selective adrenoceptor agonist promoted for the management of uncomplicated premature labour and for the unusual circumstance described by the manufacturers as ‘fetal asphyxia in labour where it is desired to obtain uterine relaxation’.
