Diflunisal - a new analgesic

Abstract

Diflunisal (Dolobid) is a new non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic related to salicylic acid. It has a long duration of action so that it need be given only twice daily. The manufacturer, Thomas Morson (a subsidiary of MSD), claims it causes unwanted effects infrequently.
