Nefopam - a new analgesic

Abstract

Nefopam (Acupan - Carnegie) is in a new class of analgesics, the benzoxazocines. It is chemically related to orphenadrine hydrochloride (Disipal) and diphenhydramine (Benadryl), but is not an antihistamine.
