Our article on hydration in acute diarrhoea in childhood (June 22, p. 51) erroneously-stated that Electrosol tablets (Macarthys), distributed by Farillon Ltd, were no longer available. We are sorry about this mistake. Eight of these effervescent tablets dissolved in water provide 1 litre of electrolyte replacement solution; it does not contain glucose. The manufacturer's price for a pack of 50 tablets is 29p.
