Abstract

Cisplatin (Neoplatin - Mead Johnson) is a platinum compound with antineoplastic activity, particularly against testicular and ovarian tumours. Its mode of action is not completely understood, but it has biochemical properties similar to those of the alkylating agents, producing inhibition of DNA synthesis.¹
