Econazole

Abstract

Econazole (Ecostatin; Pevaryl; Gyno-Pevaryl) is an imidazole derivative effective against dermatophytes and yeasts. It is available in a variety of formulations for topical use and is similar to clotrimazole1 (Canesten) and miconazole2 (Daktarin; Gyno-Daktarin; Monistat; Dermonistat).
