Abstract

Ticarcillin (Ticar - Beecham) is a parenteral penicillin recently introduced into this country. It resembles carbenicillin in its structure and spectrum of antibiotic activity but no direct clinical comparison with carbenicillin has been made and carbenicillin is not being withdrawn.
