Abstract

Ketotifen (Zaditen - Sandoz) is claimed to be ‘highly effective’ in preventing attacks of allergic asthma. It is the first such drug that can be taken by mouth. It is not claimed to prevent non-allergic asthma and is not at present intended for children.
