Management of the hyperlipidaemias


Some types of hyperlipidaemia are associated with an increased incidence of coronary artery disease and occasionally symptoms such as abdominal pain and xanthomata. The management depends on the type of lipidaemia, the age of the patient and the presence of other risk factors.
