Nicotine chewing gum: follow-up (October 10, 1980, p. 83)

Abstract

The Advisory Committee on Borderline Substances have found insufficient evidence that the widespread use of Nicorette would produce telling benefits to patients using it, and have therefore decided that Nicorette should not at present be regarded as a drug for prescription in the NHS. The ACBS will review this decision when important new evidence becomes available.
