Getting rid of tapeworms

Abstract

In Britain Taenia saginata, the beef tapeworm, is by far the most common. T. solium, the pork tapeworm, may be found in immigrants but is rare in those who have not been abroad. Diphyllobothrium latum, the fish tapeworm, is found in Scandinavia and Switzerland. Hymenolepis nana, the dwarf tapeworm, is noteable mainly for the worry the discovery of its presence may cause.
