Netilmicin: a new aminoglycoside antibiotic

Abstract

Netilmicin (Netillin - Kirby Warrick) is a semi-synthetic aminoglycoside which is structurally related to gentamicin. The manufacturer claims that it is less toxic and has a wider spectrum of activity than gentamicin.
