Abstract

An injectable benzodiazepine is often used as an anticonvulsant, an induction agent, and as a sedative for procedures such as endoscopy and dental operations. Most benzodiazepines are poorly soluble in water and few are formulated in a solution for injection. We here discuss those available and update our earlier article.¹
