Desmopressin for nocturnal enuresis?

Abstract

Nocturnal enuresis affects about 10% of 6 year olds, 3% of 12 year olds and 1% of adults.1 A child has about a 15% chance of recovering spontaneously within one year of presentation.2 A desmopressin metered-dose nasal spray (Desmospray - Ferring) has now been licensed in Britain for use in children from the age of 5 with primary nocturnal enuresis.
