Abstract

Since the first edition of this question and answer booklet (1984) WHO has campaigned worldwide to improve the management of cancer pain. WHO emphasises that the mainstay of management is analgesic drugs, and particularly, oral morphine. The booklet discusses the appropriate use of oral morphine in detail.
