Management of oral candidosis
Abstract
The most important source of Candida for human candidosis is man himself: asymptomatic carriage of Candida in the mouth is very common and does not require treatment. Oral candidosis becomes clinically significant only when there are local or systemic predisposing factors. We describe here the main clinical types of oral candidosis and their treatment.
