▾ Acemetacin (emflex) – yet another NSAID

Abstract

Acemetacin (Emflex – Merck) is a new non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug intended for use in rheumatoid arthritis and postoperative pain and inflammation. The manufacturer claims it is as effective as indomethacin, but with fewer unwanted effects than other NSAIDs studied. It is not licensed for use in osteoarthritis.
