Correction: Oral hypoglycaemics – gliquidone (February 18, page 13)

Abstract

This article wrongly stated that gliquidone was excreted by the kidneys and should be avoided by patients in renal failure. In fact it is metabolised in the liver and excreted in bile; only 5% of a dose is excreted in urine (as metabolites) and the drug is safe for patients with renal impairment.
