Corrections: update on MMR vaccination (5 August 1991, page 61)

Abstract

We stated that “before vaccination was introduced wild mumps was the commonest cause of viral meningitis in children”. Mumps is a common cause of aseptic meningitis, but the incidence of laboratory proven cases is probably higher with non-polio enterovirus infection.
