Papers to change practice: safety of early pain for acute abdominal pain (Br med J 1992; 305: 554–6)
Abstract
In the second article in our section ‘Papers to change practice’, we summarise a paper which suggests that, in patients with acute abdominal pain, effective analgesia helps patients without hampering diagnosis or management.
