Serenid - another sedative

Abstract

Oxazepam (Serenid - Wyeth), a benzodiazepine derivative related to diazepam (Valium - Roche) and chlordiazepoxide (Librium - Roche), has recently been introduced as a tranquilliser. It would be expected to resemble its forerunners in sedative activity.
