Abstract

In the past few years a more conservative attitude has been taken towards the surgical treatment of glaucoma, particularly since drugs other than miotics have been recognised as valuable in simple glaucoma. Adrenaline eyedrops were advocated in 1923¹ but have been widely used only in the last 15 years.
