Salbutamol (ventolin) for asthma

Abstract

Salbutamol (Ventolin - A & H) is a β-adrenergic stimulant drug, pressure-packed in an inhaler for use in asthma. Chemically it closely resembles isoprenaline and orciprenaline (Alupent - Boehringer Ingelheim).
