The article on gonadotropins and clomiphene (Clomid - Merrell) stated that clomiphene is given in doses of 50 mg twice daily in the first course, and 100 mg twice daily in subsequent courses. Although this dosage is used by many specialists, the makers recommend 50 mg daily for 5 days in the first course and 100 mg daily for 5 days in subsequent courses if there was no response to a lower dose.
