Abstract

The techniques used in the treatment of cancer are now so varied and specialised that it is difficult for non-specialists to know what they imply for individual patients. In future articles we shall therefore discuss chemotherapy, hormone therapy and radiotherapy from this point of view. This note is concerned with the general aspects of arranging the most appropriate management of each case.
