Abstract

Oraldene (Warner) contains 0.1% hexetidine, a saturated pyrimidine derivative. The makers claim that it ‘represents an entirely new and scientifically based approach to mouth and throat infections and oral hygiene’ and that it is exceptionally suited for oral infections such as gingivitis, stomatitis, aphthous ulcers, dental ulcers and halitosis.
