AB In the paragraph on Mechanism of action, the fourth sentence is incorrect. It should be replaced by ‘The concentration of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins may also fall. This results from reduced hepatic secretion and/or increased clearance of very-low-density lipoprotein remnants which is due to enhanced expression of the LDL receptor’.
